R152 Stain Remover Poultice - Application:

HMK® R152 Oil and Wax Remover Paste/poultice for removing oil, grease & mastic stains. Remove stains from all natural and man-made stones.

For polished, fine-honed and textured surfaces. For internal and external use.

HMK® R152 is an active cleaning paste/poultice that removes oil, wax and grease stains as well as cement smears and mineral deposits from all natural and artificial stones, ceramic, porcelain and concrete surfaces. 

R152 also removes dirt and stains from tile edges caused by, among other things, the application of unsuitable grout and mastic sealers. The poultice penetrates up to 2cm in depth and is safe for use on polished and fine honed surfaces. For internal and external use.

Important: While the R152 poultice is drying protect the area from exposure to direct sunlight and wind.

Do not apply to rubber, plastics, lacquered or varnished surfaces and solvent intolerant materials. Remove all foodstuffs from the area to be treated before work is commenced.

Instructions:

If under floor heating exists, switch it off and allow the surface to cool. Apply R152 onto the surface with a putty knife or spatula and work into the surface with a brush. Thereafter add more R152 to ensure that there is a layer of at least 5mm of poultice.

Cover paste with plastic and tape down plastic at the edges. This will retard drying and allow for slower but better drawing out of stains. You may need repeat process.

Once dry (this can take up to 24 hours) brush off the hardened poultice but do not scrape off as this can damage the surface. After removing all the poultice scrub the area with HMK® R155 Intensive Cleaner -acid free- diluted about 1:20 with clean water, using a scrubbing brush, stiff brush or suitable pad. Remove the dirty liquid and rinse the area thoroughly with clean water. 

For deeply ingrained or tough stains a second or third treatment may be necessary. Drying time: Dependent upon room temperature and ventilation, around 10 to 12 hours.

To remove stains from tile edges; thoroughly remove the old grout or mastic sealer and apply R152 into the fully opened joint and onto the surface as instructed above. After the cleaning process is completed, regrout to the manufacturers specification.

R155 - Commercial Grade Stone Cleaner APPLICATION:

A superior pH 8.5  Cleaner for use on all New and Existing Interior and Exterior Natural Stone, Cultured Sttone, Cast Stone, Agglomerate, and Ceramic Tile, regardless of surface finish. Especially formulated to remove cement/grout film residue, light construction dirt, soil, and light wax coats. Recommended for polished and honed surfaces since it does not contain acid and will not etch finishes. Use HMK¨ R154 for heavy wax removal. 

DIRECTIONS:
For initial cleaning apply Full Strength or Half Strength depending on nature of cleaning. For periodic thorough cleaning dilute 1:10-1:15 with water. Let stand for 10-20 minutes, but do not let R155 dry on the surface. Scrub vigorously with a Scrubbing Sponge, Nylon Scrub Brush or white/tan polyester pad.

Re-wet area with same solution as needed. Let stand again for a few minutes, then flood rinse with clean water and sponge up or use wet vac (use de-foamer in vacuum). A second application may be required for stubborn spots. Double or triple rinsing may be necessary, especially if a sealer/impregnator or a polish is to be applied. Use a de-foamer in wet-vacs to prevent foaming in scrubber tanks.

For larger walls or shower areas use a Professional Cleaning Sponge to apply cleaner. Rinse with Clean Water, allow surface to completely dry before applying sealers. 

 

COVERAGE:
Approximately 110 sq ft to 320 sq ft, diluted per 1 liter (34 oz.) container.

Testing: Always test the product in an inconspicuous area to evaluate suitability, coverage and performance. Do not use the product in temperatures below 12 and above 25°C.
